Hi I'm new

Hello everyone,

I am new on here. I have a 10 month old son. He is our first baby. All of a sudden he does not want to take his naps! He will scream when I put him down into his crib. I used to be able to lay him down when he was tired, and he would go right to sleep. He will sleep if I hold him but as soon as I put him down he wakes up and stats screaming. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi there, welcome.

Wish I could help. Our DS has never had issues going to sleep/nap in his crib, bed etc. ever. Even now at the age of 5 1/2 I expect some resistance but so far none. He did ask me one night if he could stay up later. I gave him an extra minute and he was thrilled!

My child got a little moody and wouldn't nap when they got a growth spurt and teething at the same time...it was hard. I am sure it will be a phase and won't last to long.

hang in there Oh and welcome to the site!!

It may be from going to sleep on his side to his back? The only other thing I can think of is lack of warmth. If you were able to warm a blanket and place it near him he might think you are still there.
