Question How long would you last with no tv?

If your tv broke today and it was the only tv in your house ~ how long could you last before you bought a new one?
Mom to three wonderfully different children.

I picked a couple of days. I wanted to add that I recognize that television is a luxury, not an essential need. Of course if I had to, I could last indefinately without tv, but I prefer not to.
Erin, blissfully busy Need help? Ask me, I'm a moderator.

I picked a couple of days. We don't get anything at the lake but we could watch movies if we want to. I find it peaceful at the lake without a TV!

I went a whole week when we moved here, but as long as I have internet I would be fine without.

I use it for a luxury, its my down time, and quiet time as well.

I picked a couple days. I do like my time to wind down at the end of the night and just let my mind be distracted my a couple of my favourite shows. Although, I have to say that our tv in the bedroom broke months ago, and since then I've been doing a whole lot more reading and don't miss the tv there a bit.

I picked a couple of weeks. It doesn't bother me that much but as all of you have said I would rather not if I didn't have to. The only time I really watch TV is in the later part of the evening anyway. There is always stuff to keep me busy and if I didn't watch any TV I could probably get a lot more done on a shorter time schedule.

I also have picked a couple of days. We have not watched much tv during the Summer. But once all of our shows start up again I am sure I will be on it.
